There are currently two PSU Math Self-Assessment Placement exams available.

The PSU MTH 70/95 Placement Assessment will help you determine whether you should start with MTH 70 or MTH 95.

The PSU MTH 95/111 Placement Assessment will help you determine whether you should start with MTH 95 or MTH 111.

To start in MTH 105, MTH 111, or STAT 243 you should have knowledge of the material in both exams.

You will need pencil and paper to work out the problems on these exams. They are not multiple choice. After completing an exam you may check your answers against the solutions given.

These are non-binding placement exams. They are for self-assessment purposes only. If you are still unsure about where to start after taking these exams, you should contact the math department for further advising.
