Statistics Consulting Laboratory

The Statistics Consulting Laboratory is an education and service unit representing the interdisciplinary faculty in applied statistics. It is dedicated to providing statistical expertise on projects of a statistical nature including, but not limited to, quality control, experimental design, sampling methods, estimation, linear and non-linear regression methods, survival data analysis, and other biostatistics methods.

We also conduct workshops and seminars on statistical methods and statistical software of interest to professionals in the life, social, physical, and health sciences as well as engineering.

Consulting projects are usually completed by graduate students under the supervision of the laboratory coordinator and supervisory faculty members affiliated with the interdisciplinary group. The clients may however request that the confidential projects be handled by faculty members only.
