The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Portland State University (PSU) is pleased to host the 2009 WNAR/IMS annual meeting taking place June 14th - 17th on the PSU campus!

Department of Mathematics & Statistics offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in mathematics, statistics and mathematics education.
Statistics ProgramThe Statistics Program currently has six tenure-track faculty members and offers Graduate Certificate in applied statistics, MS in statistics and Ph.D. in mathematical sciences with concentration in statistics. Courses developed jointly with the Division of Biostatistics at Oregon Health & Science University expose graduate students to statistical issues in the health sciences and the methodologies employed. Supported by full-time instructors, adjuncts, lecturers and graduate students, it also offers a large number of service courses.
