International Airport
(PDX) which is located
about 20 miles from downtown. Service to the downtown area is provide by the
MAX
light-rail Red Line service every 15 minutes from about 4:30 a.m. to 11:35
p.m. The trip takes about 38 minutes and costs $1.55 one way. Scheduled
shuttle service via Greyline Express provides
service to most downtown hotels, departing every 45 minutes, 5:00 a.m. to
midnight. The trip takes from 20 to 40 minutes and costs $15 (one-way) or $22
(round-trip); discounts are available for seniors and children. Metered taxis
provide door-to-door service 24 hours per day; the fare per vehicle is $22 to
$28 one-way and takes about 20-40 minutes.
